In this session, Carl Berke, PhD, Partner, Mass General Brigham Ventures, discusses the role of the clinician/researcher inventor in new company creation and venture funding. Carl’s career has spanned over 25 years in the practice and management of innovation to bring new technologies from lab to market. Carl holds an AB degree from Cornell University and received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds an appointment as Lecturer in the MIT Sloan School of Management teaching various courses on the topic of biomedical enterprise.
