ARPA-H

Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is a research funding agency established in 2022 that supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all. ARPA-H has launched ARPANET-H, a nationwide health innovation network anchored by three ARPA-H regional hubs. The Customer Experience hub - based in Dallas, TX – and the Investor Catalyst hub – based in Cambridge, MA – are each supported by a consortium with a nationwide network of spokes to bring together the nation’s voices, resources, and needs. Together, the hubs and spokes will rapidly create and transition life-changing health solutions to improve the lives of all Americans. Mass General Brigham is a spoke member of the Investor Catalyst Hub and the Customer Experience Hub. ARPA-H offers a historic opportunity to bridge the translational gap but requires a distinct approach from traditional federal grant funding and the cultivation of a specialized mindset and skills. Mass General Brigham Innovation is hosting a series of customized workshops on how to win competitive contracts and perform successfully if selected as an ARPA-H contract recipient.

Mass General Brigham Innovation is hosting a series of tailored workshops to help MGB innovators successfully navigate how to work with ARPA-H and gain grant funding. The workshops, held virtually via Zoom, will cover how to win competitive contracts and perform successfully if selected as an ARPA-H contract recipient. Workshops will be jointly conducted with experienced federal contractors from Battelle who will share their insights into strategy, federal business development, positioning, tracking, strategic partnering, proposal development, contract vehicle requirements and culture.  Participants will be expected to learn the specifics of how pursuing awards from ARPA-H and other agency work differs from the R01 environment.
